FAQ's

How do you approach solving complex UX problems?
I start with the people involved, not the interface. I map the full journey, find where confidence and clarity break down, and prioritise those moments by how often they happen and how much they hurt. From there I move in small, testable steps, prototyping and testing with real users so the evidence, not my assumptions, shapes the design.
What role does AI play in your design process?
AI is a thinking partner throughout. I use it to synthesise research faster, explore more directions early, and pressure test my own ideas. I also design with AI as a product feature, like the AI reroute and match flows in my recent work, always keeping a human in control of the final call.
What kinds of projects excite you most?
Ambiguous problems with real human stakes, where good design genuinely changes someone's day. I love work that spans a whole product, a real information architecture, multi step flows, and a consistent system, rather than a single polished screen.
How do you balance user needs with business goals?
I treat them as the same problem, not opposing ones. When you solve the user's real friction, trust, retention, and conversion tend to follow. I frame decisions around outcomes both sides care about and use research and usability data to make the trade offs explicit instead of guessed.
What's your design philosophy?
Design should make hard things feel calm, clear, and trustworthy. I combine human factors research with craft and intuition to build experiences people actually love, and I measure success by outcomes, because sometimes the best result is talking someone out of the wrong choice.
